We’re rerunning Richard Cobbett’s classic Crapshoot column, in which he rolled the dice and took a chance on obscure games—both good and bad.

From 2010 to 2014Richard Cobbettwrote Crapshoot, a column about rolling the dice to bring random obscure games back into the light. This week, enter the porny—but mostly just silly—world of Riana Rouge, where life makes little sense, and the censor bars roam free and wild.
Yep, it’s time for a special video episode! You know what to click.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:Wow, I repeat words in consecutive sentences a lot in consecutive sentences. Must stop that. Anyway, hope you enjoy this break from the norm. It’s obviously a very quick run through the game, with all the ‘good’ bits taken out (though as most of them are mostly blurry messes, I’m not sure players were too thrilled even without the censor bars), and hopefully one with a few laughs. Cheap ones, naturally, but still.
A couple of the games seen in the review have also been Crapshoots in the past—notablyBikini Karate Babes, which goes into more detail on the ‘why sexy games aren’t automatically hateful’ thing that I cut short because this was already long enough and I figured you’d want to get to the game rather than hearing me rant about the importance of context, andLula 3D, which is just… yeah. Yeah indeed. There’s alsoGAG: The Impotent Mysteryand(shudder)Womb Raider.
Merry Christmas all. There’ll be another Crapshoot next week as well, but this seems as good a time as any to say thanks for reading and being such a great audience over the last year. May you get all you want and nothing you deserve, unless you deserve cake, in which case grab a very large fork.
