The best Genshin Impact Dori build is all about strengthening her genie pal, providing support to your party with a tether that regenerates both HP and energy for the active character. It’s an appropriate ability considering this mercantile menace prides herself on providing any manner of service or info to paying customers.
Though she plays a weirdly specific role on the battlefield, she’s a strong support character in her own right, especially if you struggle for energy regen as a party, or don’t have a more battery-based character like theRaiden Shogunto help you get your bursts up.

Dori is a support character at heart, strengthening her allies with her Jinni’s HP and energy regenerating tether. As such, you’ll want a build that maximises her healing and the buffs she can offer with her burst:
Just as the four-star Sacrificial Bow is a great pick for Diona’s Icy Paws projectiles, the Sacrificial Greatsword is strong for Dori. The weapon grants energy recharge as a substat, and when she uses her Troubleshooter Cannon skill, there is a 40% chance for the cooldown to be refreshed instantly. This lets Dori farm up energy extra quick so she can use her burst more.
While you could use Favonius Greatsword for energy recharge, it would require you to build her towards crits, and she’d probably have to be hang around on the field longer in order to get those crits, which isn’t ideal for a support character. This way she can be in and out quickly while still getting some energy.
Ever the trusty support character artifact set, Noblesse Oblige grants 20% increased burst damage for two-pieces, and for four-pieces, buffs party attack by 20% for 12 seconds when a burst is used. Considering you’ll likely be switching to a DPS character once Dori has activated her tether, this should provide some great value, while also boosting the damage that enemies receive when they touch the tether.

For stats, you’ll want to build HP and energy recharge mainly, since Dori’s healing scales with her max HP, and more energy will mean more time using her burst. If you can get an artifact with either an Electro damage bonus or a healing bonus substat, that’s also greatly recommended.
There are other artifact sets you can play around with, too. If you want to run Dori as a healer, then Ocean-Hued Clam can be fun, dealing damage based on the amount you heal. You could also throw in a couple of pieces of Tenacity of the Milileth for its HP boost, though I’d recommend getting that through artifact stats instead if you can.

Dori is currently one of the boosted four-star characters on Kokomi and Ganyu’s rerun banners, meaning you can grab her by wishing on those. Be warned, though, you only have until aroundSeptember 27to do so. After that, Dori will be added to the Wanderlust Invocation banner’s pool of four-star characters, but the chances of getting her there are significantly lower than with the current banner.

To level Dori you’re going to need Vajrada Amethyst jewels and a boss material called Thunderclap Fruitcore, but luckily you can get them both from the new Electro Regisvine boss. You’ll also need two world materials:
You can getKalpalata Lotusall over Sumeru, but in-particular, to the west of Sumeru City and around Vanarana. Faded Red Satin and its upgraded variants come from defeating the Eremite enemies you’ll find wandering throughout the new region.

First off, Teachings of Ingenuity come from the new Steeple of Ignorance domain on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. As mentioned, Faded Red Satin and its rarer variants come from defeating Eremite enemies of different world levels.
Bloodjade Branch is a potential drop for defeating the weekly Azhdaha boss, though it can also be crafted using any of the others and Dream Solvent. Finally, the Crown of Insight comes from certain seasonal events, but also levelling the Sacred Sakura in Inazuma, the Frostbearing Tree in Dragonspine, and the Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget in The Chasm.
